interfaith_hospitality_networkThe Indianapolis Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is a ministry of hope for homeless families. Through faith and community based partnerships, IHN provides emergency food and shelter, offers individual skill development/rehabilitation and advocates for ending homelessness.

Our goal is economic independence for the guests we serve.

Our parish has been actively participating in IHN for 12 years. This is a wonderful local program to extend a helping hand to families who are at a "down time" in their lives. We here at SLDM are very blessed and this is a beautiful way to share those blessings with people who are experiencing a difficult time.

It was very heartwarming to see so many people volunteer to help those in need. Thank you all so much for sharing your time, talents and cooking abilities!

Sign-up for hosting will be the week-ends prior to our rotation after mass in the narthex.

For more information or to volunteer, call Tom and Laurie Stark, 317-842-7527.
