The Sacraments at the Service of Communion

Holy Matrimony

Weddings at St. Louis de Montfort should be scheduled one year in advance. According to diocesan policy, couples should have a sacramental preparation period of not less than six months prior to the wedding date. It is desirable that those to be married be registered parishioners for a year prior to the wedding. Couples wanting to schedule a wedding and/or marriage preparation must contact the parish office, 317-842-6778 and speak with one of our priests.

Holy Orders

Priests are ordained to be assistants to the bishops, and to offer the faithful the Gospel and the Sacraments. Deacons assist both bishops and priests; they are appointed to serve the faithful in works of mercy and to preach the Gospel (cf. Acts 6). If you are sensing the call the priesthood or to the permanent diaconate, please set up an appointment to meet with a priest at 317-842-6778. You may also contact our diocesan vocation director Fr. David Hasser who works with men discerning priesthood and men and women discerning religious life. Fr. Hasser may be reached at 765-513-1800 or email frhasser@priestforever.org  For more information about the permanent diaconate, you may contact Deacon Bill Reid at deacons2b@gmail.com.
